- Conduct an independent technical review of all audit reports and objective evidence gathered by the audit team.
- Have the authority to approve, suspend, or reject certification recommendations based on compliance with applicable technical standards.
- Ensure that the scope of the certification application aligns with the technical competency and accreditation limitations of the institution.
- Make the final decision regarding the granting, maintaining, extending, reducing, suspending, or revoking of certification.
- A senior technical expert with relevant educational qualifications and work experience in the industry sector being reviewed.
- In-depth competence in the requirements of relevant ISO/IEC standards (such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.) and specific certification schemes.
- Has undergone specialized training as a Reviewer and passed periodic internal competency evaluations.
- Sharp critical analysis skills to detect inconsistencies in audit reports or deficiencies in technical evidence.
Scope of Duties & Authority: The Technical Reviewer Function acts as the final quality control gate in the TNVID conformity assessment process. Its scope of duties ensures that the entire audit process is carried out in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and accreditation criteria. The reviewer has full authority to request additional clarification or re-audit if any doubts are found in the technical report. Being separate from the field audit team, this function ensures absolute objectivity, ensuring that every certificate issued by TNVID is based on accurate, complete data, and is scientifically and regulatoryly accountable.
