Its scope of duties includes a final evaluation of the integrity of the entire assessment process, from audit planning to the results of the technical review. This function has full authority to cancel the process if doubts are found in the procedures or the evidence submitted. Fully independent of the field audit team, the Decision Maker ensures that decisions are made based on sound standards compliance, providing legal and technical assurance for certificate holders in the global marketplace.
